It’s hard enough keeping up with the rapid development of Artificial Intelligence, but what happens when AI can start keeping up with us?
Up until now, there’s been a bit of a spinning wheel moment once the prompt goes in, and we wait with anticipation for the magic to come out.
We got some of our best smartest at MIT and Stanford exploring nerdy ways to optimize large language and vision models by employing techniques that I do not understand.
Parameter-efficient fine-tuning.
Blows my brain.
But for machines, it seems to reduce computation overhead, meaning faster inference, leading to rapid, immediate responses to signals.

Very Metal.
But I think that’s just scratching the surface. Here’s 3 things that I foresee coming down the generative pipe.
Real-Time Visual Storytelling: An AI that dynamically generates visuals during a presentation, or a story being told to kids, adapting to the narrative as it unfolds.
Adaptive Teaching Tools: AI that monitors facial expressions, posture, or tone of voice to adjust teaching styles in real time to keep them engaged.
Sometimes, things just don’t go into my brain and I need something to tickle my mind from another angle.
Skill Coaching: In sport, cooking or corporate flagpole greasing. An assistant who can give you on the spot coaching. It gives you the perfect right hook, the perfect right risotto, or that perfect project you wanna steal from Susan in Sales & Marketing.
I don’t know. I’m feeling really optimistic about what’s to come. Stay tuned, I’ll share more about what else I find out there
